Shopping On A Budget
Splurging is great once in a while but who doesn’t love a good deal? I have cut the hunt for a good bargain short by compiling this list of accessories available at Secret Stash under five thousand rupees. Check out the mood boards to see my take on styling these items.
- Badgley Mischka Gold Leather Rhinestone Flats – Rs 4,000
These flats are a perfect basic that can be won with any eastern or western outfit. The rhinestones add a fun touch of bling which will accentuate your painted toes (I am thinking burgundy red for autumn vibes?). I would complete the look with some trendy pearl hair clips -that are no longer just for kids as per Instagram- and a favourite pair of shalwar kameez.
- Ted Baker Large Printed Cosmetic Pouch – Rs 5,000
Admittedly, this Ted Baker purse is a makeup pouch, therefore, it’s meant more for practicality than fashion. However, you can carry it as an oversized clutch and no one will be any wiser. Pair it with a black chunky sweater, tailored pants and white sneakers. With all that room inside the bag, you will never be forced to carry a million things in your hands.
- Swarovski Aqua Green Stone Ring – Rs 3,000
This Swarovski ring can become your new everyday go-to accessory. It adds a subtle touch of elegance and sophistication. I would wear this with pretty much anything. Though, a green top would compliment the light green stone. Finish off with some layered silver necklaces.
- Coach Floral Printed Miny Wristlet – Rs 4,000
Jacques Mus can be credited with the rise of tiny bags and street style stars have been spotted wearing various bags draped over their wrists. This Coach wristlet can fit your phone and a credit card, which is all you really need with you. Pair it with a white shirt, cargo pants and your favourite sneakers to look like an off-duty model.
Hope you liked my top picks - happy bargain shopping! :)
