As those of us fortunate enough to have homes sit tight under self-quarantine, it can feel like our efforts are not making enough of a difference, even though this isn't true: every person staying at home right now is helping to flatten the curve and thus saving lives.

If you wish to contribute more, consider giving monetary donations to these organizations who are bravely volunteering to help the most needy during this crisis:

Karachi

• Orange Tree Foundation: Joining forces with Robin Hood Army, they are accepting monetary donations which are being used to create and distribute ration packs among the needy wage workers and their families. See here for donation details or message them on Facebook.
  
  
• JDC Welfare: They are raising funds to feed affected patients who are currently under quarantine. Bank details and contact info are available on the 'About' section of their Facebook page.
  
• Karachi Coronavirus Control Campaign: They are collecting funds to buy necessary medical supplies including gloves, N95 masks and disinfectant supplies. Contact here for more information.

Lahore

• Rizq: Collaborating with Eat Mubarak and Foodies 'R Us, they are providing food boxes to recently unemployed or isolated wage workers in the city. You can donate here or by downloading the Eat Mubarak app.
   
• Chiraagh: They are distributing ration packs to wage workers from village areas around the city. See here for donation details and drop them a message.
  
  
• Azaad Pakistan: They are distributing masks, soaps and hand sanitizers as well as public health flyers in Urdu. Contact 0321-6111557 or their Facebook for information to donate.

Rawalpindi/ Islamabad

• Green Volunteers: They are collecting funds to buy rations for both daily wage workers as well as supplying medical supplies to doctors. Find details here or message them on Facebook or Instagram.
  
• Fazal Foundation: A school for underprivileged children, they are working to feed the families of their students. Contact their Facebook or Instagram for details.
  
  
• FightCorona.pk: Organized by travel blogger Haris bin Saqib, they are a group of volunteers who are buying and distributing PPE kits for healthcare workers in Rawalpindi. See their efforts and contact them here.
