We've gotten an influx of gorgeous summer shoes these past couple of weeks, including many new flats and sandals. This week, we wanted to share our love for a petite girl's best friend: wedge heels.

I love pulling out long skirts and maxis for warm weather, but being 5"2 a lot of them drag around my ankles and have had their hems destroyed from the friction ( *cue the sound of the world's tiniest violin* ). So naturally wedge heels, especially the espadrille variety, are an obsession of mine: they're a comfier alternative to pumps and stilettos, especially for work (because who wants their toes pinched for 6+ hours??) while providing a boost of confidence and height, making you look like you put in more effort than you actually did.

So without further ado, here are some of our favourite wedges in this week:
